What is your favorite item in your workspace?

Probably the Aeron chair. They have become ubiquitous in most designer setups but it is with good cause, as it is the most comfortable chair I’ve ever used. Even after spending hours sat working, there is zero aches or strain. I picked this up pre-owned for cheap. Also I love the desk. It was a custom job as the workspace is in a loft with a sloped low ceiling.

How do you spark creativity?

Being around nature always helps (hence all the houseplants!) I also think exposure to lots of art forms helps me a lot. I love photography, film, art and architecture – all of these things inspire creativity. Finally, having a workspace you love and enjoy being in is a massive factor in being creative and doing your best work.

How do you manage work-life balance?

I am thankful to be working in a fully remote company which emphasizes asynchronous work and being able to truly have a work-life balance. Currently, work life balance isn’t something I even think about too much anymore, as I know that I have a lot of flexibility in how and when I work.
